Luna Crescent

290 €

A 15 mm crescent in solid 18k gold, polished by hand until the light slides along its curve. It is the small talisman you keep on — the piece that stays day and night, gathers the years, and becomes yours. The moon as a charm, not a statement.

Materials & hallmark

A solid sliver of gold

The alloy: 18 karat gold is 750 thousandths — 75% gold, 20% copper, 5% silver. It is the legal minimum fineness for gold in France, and the crescent, bail and chain of the Luna are all made of it.

The hallmarks: the Luna holds 2 g of gold — under the 3 g French threshold — so it is exempt from the fineness punch. It still carries our maker's responsibility punch, which ties the piece to the atelier that made it.

The honest price

The price of the metal

On 22 October 2026, 18k gold costs about 87.70 € per gram (gold itself trades at 4,085.40 USD per ounce). The Luna holds 2 g of gold — about 175 € at today's price.

The rest of the 290 € covers the fabrication: casting the crescent, hand-polishing, finishing, hallmarking, the chain, and the lifetime repair service. We keep the two figures separate so you always see what you pay for metal and what you pay for the hand.

Gold prices move; the price shown when you order is the price you pay.

Care

Three gestures for a talisman

Polish with a cloth

The mirror polish shows touches. A soft cloth, run along the crescent before you put it on, keeps it bright.

Remove it for sport

Keep the talisman on, but take it off for sport and swimming — chlorine dulls gold, and a knock is the only thing that can genuinely damage it.

Store separately

In its pouch, away from other pieces, so the polished surface never meets another piece's clasp or stone.

Shipping & returns

The atelier

Made in the Paris atelier

The Luna is cast, polished and finished at 14 rue de Saintonge, in the Marais — the same two hands from the first sketch to the last polish.

Lost-wax casting

The crescent is cast in 750‰ gold using the lost-wax process, an ancient technique that still starts with a carved model.

Hand-polishing

The crescent is polished by hand to the mirror finish that carries the light along its curve — the step that earns the piece its name.

Stamping and inspection

The piece is inspected and stamped with our maker's responsibility punch before it leaves the bench.
