Privacy & cookies

What we collect, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you have under the GDPR.

§ 1

Data controller

The data controller is Emily Rose Jewellery SARL, 14 rue de Saintonge, 75003 Paris, France — RCS Paris B 902 114 558. You can reach us at bonjour@emilyrosejewellery.com or +33 1 84 88 22 40.

§ 2

Data we collect

Orders: your name, email address, shipping address and phone number, plus the details of the pieces ordered. Contact form: the fields you fill in — name, email, phone, country, subject and message. Newsletter: your email address only.

We do not collect payment card numbers: payments are processed entirely by our payment providers, who never share your card details with us.

§ 3

Purposes and legal basis

Order data is processed to perform the contract you enter into when you buy (delivery, invoicing, after-sales). Contact form messages are processed for our legitimate interest in answering you. The newsletter is sent with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

§ 4

How long we keep records

Order data is kept for ten years, the statutory accounting retention period in France. Contact messages are kept for three years after the last exchange. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe or after three years without opening a letter.

§ 5

Recipients and processors

Your data is shared only with the processors needed to run the site and fulfil orders: the hosting provider (OVH SAS, France), the carrier that delivers your parcel, and the payment providers that process your payment. Each processor receives only the data it needs and is bound by contract.

§ 6

Transfers outside the EU

Some payment providers process data on servers outside the European Economic Area. These transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards — the European Commission's standard contractual clauses — and your data is never sold or used for profiling by third parties.

§ 7

Cookies

The site uses three kinds of cookies. Essential cookies keep the site working — session handling, your cart, your language choice. Audience measurement cookies give us anonymous statistics about visits and pages read. Preference cookies remember your choices, such as the cookie banner itself.

There are no third-party advertising cookies on this site. We do not show advertising, and we do not share browsing data with advertising platforms.

§ 8

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your data, to object to its processing, and to define directives for what happens to it after your death. You may exercise these rights at any time by writing to bonjour@emilyrosejewellery.com or by post to Emily Rose Jewellery SARL, 14 rue de Saintonge, 75003 Paris, France.

We answer within one month. You also have the right to file a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority — cnil.fr, 3 place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris.

§ 9

Cookie consent

On your first visit, a banner asks you to accept or refuse non-essential cookies. Your choice is remembered, and you can change it at any time — refusing audience measurement or preference cookies does not affect the site's operation.

§ 10
