Céleste Chain Bracelet

Céleste is cast in 18k yellow gold — 750‰, the legal minimum title of gold in France. The alloy is 75% gold, 20% copper and 5% silver, which gives the metal its warm, slightly rosy tone and its everyday durability.

Because the bracelet weighs 6 g — above the 3 g threshold — it carries the eagle's head fineness punch struck inside a hexagon, together with the maker's responsibility punch. Two punches, struck in Paris, are your guarantee that the metal is what we say it is.

Each bracelet is finished by hand: the curb links are closed one by one, the clasp is sprung and tested, then the whole chain is polished and washed.

The remaining 163.80 € is the making — forging and closing the links, the clasp, the hallmarks, and the hours at the bench. We publish the price of the metal because we want the rest of the price to be legible too.

• Rinse the bracelet under warm water after a day of wear — soap residue dulls the flat links faster than anything.
• Brush along the links with a soft-bristled brush, then dry with a soft cloth, following the line of the chain.
• Store it flat, not coiled, so the curb links keep their even lie. Keep it away from chlorine and household bleach.
